A six-month migration from a placeholder website to a bespoke ecommerce platform.
OVERVIEW
Coventry Timber had a simple signpost website with no ecommerce capability. Over roughly six months, I designed, built and migrated the business to a bespoke Wix ecommerce experience with structured product browsing, product detail pages and a clearer path from search to sale. I included a blog section to build topical authority for key product areas researched.

End-to-end website strategy, ecommerce UX, design, Wix development, product architecture and migration.
The challenge
Replace a non-transactional placeholder site with an ecommerce system capable of presenting a large and technical product range clearly, while giving the business a practical platform it could operate day to day.
The work
I planned the site design, information architecture, designed the customer journey and built the ecommerce experience in Wix. The work covered the homepage, product and category structures, help content, product detail templates and the migration into a fully transactional site, including payment gateways and security.
The outcome
The finished site turned the website into a working sales channel and gave Coventry Timber a much stronger digital foundation for ecommerce, search visibility and ongoing marketing.
